SRT streaming is possible with a TSDUCK UDP/RTP Gateway.

Video Processor Chassis
The Ericsson Video Processor Chassis is a high density, multi-functional, video processing platform. It is designed for the evolving requirements of today’s broadcasters.
The Video Processor has a compact 1RU form factor with up to six hot swappable option slots with a single PSU or up to four option slots with a dual PSU option, making it an ideal solution for the whole spectrum of high resilience to high density requirements. The Video Processor chassis supports a comprehensive range of video processing options, including SD MPEG-2 and HD MPEG-4 AVC encoding on hot swappable option modules.
The platform’s modular design allows service providers to upgrade functionality and add new services incrementally, avoiding costly headend upgrades.
The Video Processor Chassis offers broadcasters the most advanced video and audio compression technology available today and is part of Ericsson’s portfolio of products including receivers, decoders, and descramblers all seamlessly integrated into a complete headend system with nCompass Control by Ericsson.

 

EN8130 Encoder Module
The EN8130 is Ericsson’s latest generation of SD MPEG-4 encoder delivering a 15 percent improvement over the previous generation. This allows operators to add one extra channel in six or save one RF channel in five without loss in picture quality. For installations where rack space is at a premium, the Video Processor Chassis delivers the highest density of any broadcast quality MPEG-4 encoder solution with up to six EN8130 option modules, halving rack space requirement in comparison to existing deployed systems. This high density enables a rolling upgrade of a headend with minimum spare rack space. The re-encoder variant of the EN7190 is just as space efficient allowing six high quality transcodes per rack unit. The EN81300 option module is hot swappable allowing in-field servicing and system expansion without disrupting other on-air channels.
